We are now seeking an experienced Personal Assistant for our Executive Department. Reporting to the Deputy CEO, the Personal Assistant is responsible for providing administrative and secretarial support to the Executive.

This role will have access to a wide range of confidential issues where discretion, good judgement, sensitive communication and good literacy skills are essential.


Key Responsibilities (Not Limited to):


  • Acting as first point of contact for the Deputy CEO. Make and receive telephone calls on behalf of the Executive and to answer incoming calls in a polite and professional manner.
  • Managing the diary, scheduling meetings, reminding the Deputy CEO of important tasks and deadlines.
  • Facilitating arrangements for meetings involving the Executive Department, including catering and room preparation.
  • To take minutes at internal and external meetings, producing and circulating timely and accurate action points and minutes, as appropriate
  • Involving in marketing and external events
  • Visiting and auditing campuses and sites
  • Conducting interviews and screening staff
  • Coordinating office activities and operations to ensure efficiency and compliance to company policies.
  • Implementing and maintaining procedures/administrative systems, typing, compiling and preparing reports, presentations and correspondence, record keeping, filing and photocopying.
  • Be willing to undergo professional training; to research appropriate training and be willing to attend internal and external courses, as well as providing feedback on any training undertaken.
  • Undertake any other duties that may reasonably requested appropriate to the grade and responsibilities of the post.
  • Overseeing and reviewing the work of other departments
  • Taking part in any personal tasks, such as : picking up/dropping children taking car to car wash / garage

Person Specification:


  • Educated to Level 3 or equivalent. (

  • This Role will may require some travel across sites therefore access to vehicle is (

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities with a proven ability to respond positively and proactively to colleagues and external contacts (
    Essential)
  • Discreet with an understanding of the need to maintain confidentiality (
    Essential)
  • A minimum of two years' experience of working in an office environment (
    Essential)
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills and ability to work with minimum supervision. (
    Essential)
  • Strong IT skills, excellent knowledge of MS Office and office management software (
    Essential)
  • An understanding of the education and training sector (
    Desirable)

£30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
