About the School and Role:

An SEN school in the area CV13 is seeking an experienced Head of English to work with them on a full-time basis.

The individual must have the knowledge and ability to work with pupils with special educational needs and drive the English Curriculum.

As Head of English, you will promote a relentless focus on the quality of education and delivery of a broad, balanced, and relevant curriculum that meets the needs of children and young people along with producing positive outcomes.

We are looking for an individual with high expectations and standards who can offer excellent behavioural management skills. An additional strength would be a creative, engaging approach to curriculum design and planning for pupils.

An in-date enhanced DBS will be needed for this role or a subscription to the DBS update service.

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status
Special Need experience
Child and Adult enhanced DBS
Recent schoolbased references

Valid Photo ID

Driving Licence or passport
Full DBS registered on the update service
