Design Engineer – Automotive, West Midlands, £30,000 - £40,000 DOE + benefits

Design Engineer – Automotive responsibilities:

Provide CAD support to Engineering team in areas of Body, Chassis, Electrical and Electronics and other vehicle systems.

· Create high quality CAD models and typical sections from concept design through to final math and GD&T releases.

· Produce robust, cost effective designs that meets or exceeds customer requirements, within project time constraints.

· Provide analysis of module packages.

· Other tasks as assigned by manager.

Design Engineer – Automotive Requirements

On course for/Achieved a 2.1 or above at undergraduate or postgraduate level in an Engineering discipline - Mechanical, Automotive or a closely related subject.

· Relevant work experience preferred.

· Good knowledge in 3D CAD tools – Catia, NX.

· In depth knowledge of engineering fundamentals.

· Proactive, leaning agile and diligent.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

· Analytical and problem solving skills

· Proficient in Microsoft Office

· Able to work as part of a team
