Lancaster University is seeking to appoint Lecturer/s in Architecture to join our world-leading research centre and a team of dedicated staff delivering our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.

The Lancaster School of Architecture currently focuses on three major concerns - future practice, digital craft and the climate emergency - amongst a constellation of other interests.

Situated in the North-West of England and surrounded by unique landscapes, our studio design projects and our research use these special habitats to further the practice of architecture in rapidly changing professional and ecological circumstances.

Morecambe Bay, the Lake District and the Trough of Bowland are all locations within which we work. We are establishing partnerships with organisations across the region that share our vision for social and environmental sustainability.

The campus at Lancaster also provides wonderful opportunities for outdoor learning and live building amongst its woodlands and open space.

These landscapes, habitats and concerns characterise the emergent identity of the School.

Lancaster University is highly ranked for its research and gold-rated for teaching.

LICA is a multi-disciplinary department whose research engages design and the creative arts with science and technology, together with a strong concern for community and sustainability.

It is ranked within the top 100 globally for Art & Design.

We are establishing links with industry partners in Architecture to support the education and career of our students, and to collaborate with us in addressing local and global challenges.
