    About the role

    As the Workforce Planning Manager, you will be responsible for the development and

    implementation of effective workforce planning, in partnership with Head of Data & Analytics. You will also proactively organise establishment and budget information to ensure accurate and reliable information within Customer Service function.

    Key responsibilities

    • Be responsible for developing, implementing a workforce plan to achieve the requirements set and met customer demand.
    • Monitor and report on the performance of the organisation against the workforce plan, highlighting any risks and making recommendations to adjust the plan as necessary.
    • Analyse and monitor workforce statistics including retention and diversity profiles to identify trends and gaps, making recommendations to address these.
    • Forecast requirements for promotion, and undertake succession planning for key skills
    • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with strategic and operational leaders to understand organisational objectives and ensure workforce plans meet expectations.
    • Work with Management team to ensure any plans for restructures, workforce modernisation or service reviews are fed into the workforce planning process.
    • Be responsible for the accuracy of workforce data.
    • Proactively identify and produce management information to enable managers to monitor and challenge.
    • Produce reports and statistical information as required.

    Qualifications and skills

    • Knowledge of strategic workforce planning and best practice
    • Previous experience of workforce planning
    • Collating, analysing, forecasting and presenting data.
    • Experience working within a Financial Services environment.
    • Have meticulous attention to detail with excellent organisational and planning skills.
    • Strong influencing and negotiating skills.
    • Excellent communicator
    • Advanced Microsoft Skills in Excel and Power BI
    • Ability to independently manage numerous priorities and conflicting demands.
    • Proven ability to build positive working relationships at all levels of an organisation, including Senior Leaders
