    Description

    As an Undergraduate Supply Planner, you will play a critical role in assisting with the smooth and efficient flow of products through the supply chain. You will assist in developing and implementing supply plans, optimising inventory levels, and collaborating with various teams to meet customer demands and business objectives. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to handle complex logistical challenges.

    Assist in developing supply plans to meet customer demand while optimizing inventory levels and production efficiency.
    - Collaborate with demand planning and production teams to gather input for supply planning activities.
    - Analyze inventory levels, production capacity, and lead times to ensure timely delivery of products.
    - Monitor production schedules and identify potential constraints or bottlenecks in the supply chain.
    - Support the implementation and maintenance of supply planning tools and systems.
    - Generate regular reports on supply chain performance, inventory levels, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
    - Participate in supply planning meetings and provide insights to optimize production schedules and inventory management.
    - Utilize supply planning software to create and maintain production schedules for assigned product lines.
    - Collaborate with demand planning and procurement teams to ensure alignment between demand forecasts and production plans.
    - Analyze production capacity and lead times to identify potential supply constraints and develop mitigation strategies.
    - Monitor inventory levels and work with production and logistics teams to optimize inventory management.
    - Assist in the development of supply planning strategies to improve production efficiency and reduce lead times.
    - Prepare and present supply planning reports and analysis to management on a regular basis.
    - Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply planning processes and systems.
    - Assist in creating and maintaining supply plans to meet customer demand and service level agreements.
    - Collect and analyze data from various sources including demand forecasts, production schedules, and inventory levels.
    - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including demand planning, production, and logistics to ensure alignment of supply plans with business objectives.
    - Monitor supplier performance and coordinate with procurement team to address any supply disruptions or delays.
    - Support inventory management efforts by optimizing inventory levels and minimizing excess or obsolete inventory.
    - Assist in the development of supply planning strategies to improve supply chain efficiency and reduce costs.
    - Prepare and present supply planning reports and analysis to key stakeholders.

    REQUIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION

  • Undertaking a bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Knowledge of supply chain software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is a plus.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software
