As a Kitchen Porter, your role is integral to the smooth running of the day-to-day operations of the kitchen. This role is key, as it enables the remainder of the kitchen team to focus on preparing and cooking excellent food, which in turn means our customers have a memorable dining experience.

About the role:

• Ensure basic cleaning jobs, such as the floors and work surfaces etc. are carried out as quickly and thoroughly as possible
• Collect and wash up pots, pans and cooking utensils in a timely manner
• Clean food preparation areas and equipment, in addition to crockery and cutlery in line with the company cleaning and hygiene procedures
• Unload food and equipment deliveries
• Keep the storeroom well-organised
• Keep work surfaces, walls and floors clean and sanitised
• Comply with all health and safety, food safety and hygiene standards
• Help to keep all packaging safely stored and recycled where possible
• Ensure internal and external areas of recycling and waste are kept immaculately clean at all times
