£26,000 p/a, North Chailey (own transport required), Permanent, Monday to Friday, 7am - 4pm, 28 days holiday, Christmas shutdown, generous staff discounts, health insurance, dog friendly office

The Role

This is an exciting role for a growing brand who are seeking a Production Supervisor to join their busy team.

This role will involve supervising production staff, efficient running of factory processes and prompt and accurate completion of paperwork.

Thisis a hands-on role where you will need to lead from the front and drive the team to achieve the objectives of the department.

Duties will also include:

Being involved with production scheduling and delivering daily production updates to planning and customer service teams.
Communication with Procurement regarding required products and materials.
Receiving and storing incoming ingredients and goods.
Oversee all production elements from mincing to packing.
Oversee daily cleaning of factory equipment.
Monitor temperatures and ensure any issues are reported.
Be responsible for the safety of all staff in the factory environment.
Assist with training of new staff members.

Requirements_

This position will be the link between senior management and the production team so you must be comfortable communicating at all levels.

A positive, driven and motivating presence will be vital to this role, leading the team with a can-do attitude.
