Job Title:
Frame Assembler

Core details:
A permanent, full time position offering between £19,305 and £22,000 DOE. Monday to Friday, 7am - 3:30pm.

The Role:

We are working with an excellent employer in Burgess Hill who are expanding and looking for additional Frame Assemblers to join their busy production team.

This is a hands-on role, assembling steel frames and doors to a high specification.
Previous experience in assembly or production would be advantageous.

  • Preparing materials to assemble fames and doors following specific instructions
  • Arranging fixtures and fittings to ensure they are secured accurately
  • Measuring and drilling of products
  • Complete any necessary paperwork accurately and efficiently
  • Ensure all H&S is adhered to at all times
  • Ensure working area is kept tidy and organised

The Person:

This role will require prior experience in either assembly, manufacturing, carpentry or glazing, with strong confidence in hands on assembly, including the use of hand and power tools to cut and drill into steel framework.

Youwill need to have a good attitude to work and changing needs of the business, and be an excellent team player.

A reliable and common sense approach will be needed to do well in this role. A forklift licence would be desirable but is not essential.
