    Description

    Are you a dedicated leader with a passion for supporting positive outcomes for clients in need? Our client is currently seeking a dynamic Senior Resource Officer to join their team.

    As part of the local management team, you will play a crucial role in supervising Resource Officers and providing support, advice, and guidance to ensure effective local services are provided.


    Key Responsibilities:
    Supervise Resource Officers and provide support, advice, and guidance to the entire team
    Ensure a smooth transition through the service with positive outcomes for clients
    Carry out information gathering and data analysis related to the complexity of clients accessing the service
    Liaise with other teams within adult social care to prevent delays in discharge
    Work collaboratively with the local Management Team to ensure effective local services, focusing on support planning
    Supervise Resource Officers, ensuring complex casework is appropriately referred
    Provide face-to-face advice and guidance to practitioners and support duty worker function
    Establish and maintain effective partnership working arrangements with Health, Borough, and District Council colleagues and key stakeholders
    Improve processes
    Facilitate weekly meetings with staff to ensure effective workload management
    Undertake performance monitoring and reporting as required
    Liaise with other teams to predict demand for services
    Conduct Safeguarding Enquiries as necessary, reporting to the line manager
    Lead the team in supporting the introduction of new ways of working
    Undertake a lead community development role, providing links to local resources as neededKey Requirements and Experience:

    Experience in a supervisory role within social services or a related field
    Strong leadership and communication skills
    Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders
    Knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices in social care
    Enhanced DBS clearance requiredThis role is on a full time, temporary ongoing basis. This position may require occasional travel and flexible working hours.
