    Purpose of the role :

    As Regional Medical Science Liaison, you will be Essilor Luxottica's medical representative towards optometrists, myopia care private clinics and targeted dispensing opticians and universities in your region.

    Your main responsibilities will be to promote Lens and Instruments towards those specific targets.

    You will bring them a wealth of knowledge and EL solutions to support appropriate use of lenses and instruments for better patient outcomes.

    This promotion will be done through field visits, technical education in practices, medical congress symposiums and training in universities.

    Your mission will involve technical education with dispensing opticians and optometrists according to the needs of the sales managers: local regional sales manager, KA account director, Sales Director.

    Your 3-core category focus will be:

    • Stellest and Myopia Control category development
    • Varilux and Pal category recommendation
    • VR 800 refraction system and setting Precise Refraction as a new standard for eye exams.
    AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND RELATED ACTIVITIES:
    • Objective Setting: Ensuring all objectives are commercially driven whilst supporting the appropriate medical education to make a significant difference to the performance of the business.
    • Evaluation: Providing accurate evaluation of all key activity with appropriate frequency, exploring effectiveness, impact on Blockbusters objectives, and key learning / next step recommendations.
    • Personal Learning: Willingness to develop, being able to acquire and apply new skills, quickly adapting to new situations and requirements
    • You will work closely with the local Product Managers, regional Medical Education teams and Sales Teams to establish a medical footprint for EssilorLuxottica in the UKI region. You will be a keynote speaker in local events linked to visual health.
    • You will support net sales growth in your region for Stellest, Varilux and VR 800 in coordination with the local sales leader. You will track post education net sales impact and will re-schedule when necessary complementary action to fully activate the account in the core categories.
    • You will establish accounts targeting, field visits and planning in collaboration with the Sales Director and Regional leaders. You will visit independent practices and key accounts following quarterly sales priorities.
    • You are expected to be 80% in the field, e.g., myopia clinics and customer visits, secure technical education for Varilux, Stellest and VR 800.
    • You will support the delivery of Virtual Classrooms on the Leonardo education platform.
