STAFF NETWORKS ADMINISTRATOR An opportunity has arisen within the Equality Diversity and Inclusion Team for an EDI Staff Equality Network Administrator.

The postholder will work collaboratively across the six staff equality networks. You will have effective communication skills, both verbal and written and support the Networks in providing administrative support. You would have good IT skills and feel confident in using most software packages e.g.

word, excel, powerpoint and TEAMS. You will work with the Coms/EDI team to ensure that cultural/diversity events are promoted on Need to Know.

You will create a calendar of quarterly meetings for each network using precision that there is no clash in dates.

You will capture key actions from Network meetings and ensure that points/recommendations from meetings have been actioned.


You will also ensure that each network submits their reports to the EDI Group well in advance to the quarterly meetings.

You will prepare an induction pack for each Network that consists of:
Welcome letter, Terms of Reference, Abstraction/Protected Time, up-to-date list of members/committee and a list of promotional merchandise available.

You will also keep of a log of network committee members who have been through the Equality Network Induction Training.

You will support networks with purchasing of items from their allocated annual budget by consulting with the purchasing department and completing the relevant paperwork.

Other responsibilities will include word processing, collating documents, ensuring the networks mailing lists are up to date. Supporting the Networks to organise events in relation to the Cultural/Diversity calendar. Alerting the EDI team of any situations vacant within the Networks and of any new developments. This is a new role and responsibilities and duties may change as the networks evolve.
