    Description


    Dunbar Education is currently seeking dedicated and experienced Long-Term Supply Teachers to join our team in supporting various secondary schools within Northampton and Northamptonshire.

    As a leading education recruitment agency, we specialize in sourcing talented professionals for a wide range of educational roles, ensuring both schools and candidates find the perfect fit.

    Role Overview:


    The successful candidates will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and maintaining a positive learning environment in the absence of the regular classroom teacher.

    Long-Term Supply Teachers may be required to cover a specific or a variety of subjects and year groups, depending on the needs of the school, the specific role and the individuals specialism and flexibility.

    Roles can continue on a supply basis but can also transform into permanent positions, for those who are looking for this option.

    Most long-term supply positions do require full-teaching responsibilities.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Deliver engaging and effective lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students
    Manage classroom behavior and ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment
    Follow the school's policies and procedures, including lesson planning and assessment
    Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to provide continuity in students' learning experiences

    Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendanceRequirements:
    Minimum of 6 months of UK education-based experience
    UK Based Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
    Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service (Desirable)
    Valid safeguarding certification (Desirable)
    Flexibility and adaptability to work across different subjects and year groups
