Kitchen Assistant

Restful Homes Group - Castlehill Specialist Care Centre is currently on the lookout for a Kitchen Assistant at our beautiful home based in Brownhills.

Our Specialist Care Centre provides 84 spacious bedroom suites providing the highest quality of care to older residents of Walsall and the surrounding areas who require Residential, Nursing, Dementia and Specialist Dementia care with associated behaviours that challenge.

We also cater for older people with enduring Mental Health needs.

Job Responsibilities
-
Assist in the preparation and serving of nutritious, well-balance, attractive meals in accordance with Service User's individual needs

Handle and store food in accordance with Food Hygiene Regulations
-
Use cleaning materials in accordance with COSHH Regulations
-
Clean all work surfaces, equipment, fridges, ovens and floors and stores items correctly

Ensure store room is well organised and clean
-
Wash crockery and cutlery or stacks dishwasher
-
These duties are not exhaustive. Job holders may be asked to undertake other responsibilities, within their spheres of responsibility and competence
