Recra are working in partnership with a reputable recruitment agency who are currently seeking a senior industrial recruitment specialist.


You will be a true recruitment consultant, confident in your ability to manage and deliver effective recruitment processes effectively, high level of operational excellence, and have impact and influence which creates respect with senior stakeholders and Hiring Managers in the business.


What you'll be doing:


  • Partnering with Hiring Managers and senior stakeholders, to develop a systematic and clear recruitment strategy for all roles and manage and support the Recruiter to achieve the same.
  • Work closely with your Recruitment Team Leader and provide support and innovation with new strategies for attracting top talent, focusing on pipeline development for key positions and strategic recruitment delivery planning, using workforce plans to ensure the team is capable of working flexibly to deliver on business requirements.
  • Together with the Senior Resourcing Manager and peer Senior Recruiters, review processes to identify and implement best practice sharing and communication.
  • Ensure compliance across the team, including data integrity, SLAs & KPIs.
  • Support the Recruitment Team Leaders, with delivery planning and progress reporting, attending relevant business meetings.
  • Lead by example to ensure best practices in recruitment assessment methodology.
  • Ensure all advertising channels are optimised by using the BBUK tone of voice, social channels are appropriately used and the team adopts a search and network approach to recruitment.
  • Provide external market intelligence and research to support the overall resourcing strategy or relevant business change.
  • Support a range of broader Resourcing projects as required, specifically in relation to the delivery of the overall talent strategy.

Personal Qualities And Experience:


  • Experience in owning, maintaining, and developing stakeholder/Hiring Manager relationships, including appropriate influencing skills.
  • Works collaboratively with colleagues and demonstrates a willingness to get the job done.
  • Highly professional and willing to both challenge and be challenged and demonstrates selfawareness and emotional intelligence in their relationships with others.
  • Track record of successful and innovative sourcing strategies.
  • Working knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems, social media, and recruiting process workflows.
  • Experience developing creative resource planning tools and approaches.
  • Full understanding of employment laws and regulations relevant to recruitment & selection.
