- Basic Salary £45,000 to £50,000
- Issuing purchase orders
- Ongoing procurement operations with all relevant suppliers: suppliers and internal customers
- Identifying opportunities for proactive and effective streamlining processes
- Analysis of market trends to identify potential suppliers and alternatives
- Managing relationships with suppliers
- Leading cost reduction projects
- Negotiating commercial contracts and engagements
- MCIPS or studying towards it
- Commercial procurement experience
- Assertiveness and commercial negotation abilities
- High mastery of Excel
- Experience with SAP is advantageous
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Well respected supplier of sophisticated scientific systems
- Provides a wide range of innovative analytical systems to the pharmaceutical, university and research sectors
