Finance AccountantContract: 12 Months FTC
The Briggs Equipment Group is a leading provider of asset management and maintenance solutions across the UK and Ireland.
Maintenance of fixed asset register, ensuring all transactions are processed correctly with the necessary authorisations. Including the calculation of the monthly depreciation charge to the profit and loss account.Updating book values of assets, within the system.
Standard cost updates of ancillary items, using Excel based spreadsheets.
Responsible for the processing and reconciliation of allocated general ledger accounts including accruals and prepayments.
Assisting with Audit requests for quarterly and yearly external audits.
Other ad-hoc finance duties and provide additional support to the Finance team, as and when required.
What will help you to excel in this role:
Significant experience working in finance department(s)
Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel - examples; Future development and career opportunities
