THE ROLE
We are seeking a strong
HR Advisor to join our UKI People Team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone seeking a generalist HR role overseeing the HR function for several business within the LEAP Group.

It's a varied role which will see you involved in a wide range of HR activities across multiple locations.

The role is based in central Bath and will require travel to the Leeds office monthly and occasional presence at our Head Office in Twickenham.


You'll create an open-door approach for HR and work on developing the culture across several businesses within the LEAP Group.

This role seeks a strong HR Generalist who is comfortable working on the operational side of HR, with scope for the role to grow and become more strategic in the future.


Working Pattern & Location
08: Monday to Friday, Bath Office.

Hybrid working pattern: 3 days office based, and 2 days home based.


WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Dealing with all daytoday HR queries across the businesses.
  • Monitoring, reviewing, and updating all HR policies and ensuring they're in line with current legislation.
  • Partnering with Senior Executives and Line Managers to review employee relations, performance management, resourcing, and staff management.
  • Deal with ER cases including disciplinary, grievance and absence management cases under the guidance of the Director of HR.
  • Advising and coaching managers.
  • Oversee, own, and administer the team trainings needs, processes and induction.
  • Support and work on a variety of HR projects.
  • Manage and update HR systems (knowledge of Bamboo would be beneficial).
  • Manage staff benefits with support from the Finance and Office Admin team.
  • Work with the Finance team on monthly payroll.
  • Monitoring and reporting on key HR metrics.
  • Work with the Talent Acquisition Manager to manage recruitment process documentation, training, promotions, terminations and exit interviews.

Requirements:


WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

  • Must be CIPD qualified.
  • Happy to work as the sole on site person but as part of a geographically spread team.
  • Personable, friendly, and outgoing personality, a champion of positive culture, with big ideas and the ability to deliver.
  • Extensive and up to date knowledge of human resources best practice and employment law.
  • Comfortable and confident dealing with strong personalities and stakeholders of all levels.
  • Energetic and motivated, great at generating ideas and taking responsibility from start to finish.
  • Credible and trustworthy, and happy to create an "open door" HR approach.
  • Interested in professional development and attending industry events to understand the trends and changes in HR.
  • Interested in utilising technology solutions to improve daytoday operations.
  • Happy with travel and overnight stays.
