St Helens Education Welfare has an exciting new project which is looking to recruit a Youth Engagement Officer to work in partnership with young people aged years who have been identified as requiring early help through a Social Prescribing model.

Young people are referred to the Service for many reasons which can include many barriers to attending school including poor mental health and well-being.

The Youth Engagement Officer will work in partnership with other professionals and agencies to ensure that young people are receiving the help and support they require.

The Youth Engagement Officers role will be to help young people to identify their own goals and provide interventions which supports them to overcome specific difficulties and make a positive change, either through one-to-one support or group work.
