Electrical and Mechanical Assembly / Testing Apprentice

• This role is electrical and mechanical assembly and covering testing-based engineering apprenticeship. Where the successful candidate will learn all aspects of assembling, testing which will include, IPC and J standard solder training or certificate.
• Apprentices will learn the application of the Eaton Aerospace parts portfolio which cover Airbus Commercial Jets, Boeing Commercial Jets and Combat Aircraft. Manufacture of Aerospace components using a variety of assembly and test techniques.
• With the support of Eaton, successfully complete an engineering apprenticeship through a local college or provider
• Full training will be provided by Eaton

Demonstrated interest in and understanding of mechanical engineering, especially in systems for which safety and reliability are essential, e.g.

aerospace.

• Candidates should be able to demonstrate a degree of mechanical understand/interest, whether through hobbies or previous experience
• Basic IT skills such as Excel and Word are preferred
• GCSE (grade C or above desirable) in English, Mathematics, and one or more Sciences (equivalent experience considered)
