    We have an exciting opportunity for a Patient Services Porter to join our Housekeeping team. This role is a based in our Main Hospital site in Central London (W1G 6BW). We are also offering a competitive salary of £24,856 per annum plus a fantastic array of benefits.

    Job Profile

    We are seeking versatile Porters to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for a range of portering duties, including Pathology, Housekeeping, Catering and Post room.

    The core role will involve the collection and transfer of materials, equipment, specimens around the hospital in a safe, fast and efficient manner. From time to time additional functions and activities may be required, where necessary training will be provided.

    • Job Type: This is a full-time, permanent position working 40 hours per week.
    • Shifts: 8-hour shift, according with the rota (the service covers the hours of 7am to 10pm). Working 5 out of 7 days including weekends.
    • Salary: £24,856 per annum
    • Location: 20 Devonshire Place, London, W1G 6BW (Baker Street and Regents Park stations).

    Key Duties

    • To provide an efficient portering service and cover all portering duties throughout the Clinic.
    • Manage the safe and efficient transportation of goods, equipment, reports and specimens within and across The London Clinic facilities
    • Support in the organisation and storage of supplies in all Patient Services area.
    • To check stock levels and delivery of linen on the floors.
    • To collect and deliver pathology specimens from internal client users of the Pathology Department.

    Skills & Experience

    • Portering experience in either an NHS or private healthcare environment.
    • The ability to work independently without continuous supervision.
    • Flexible to adapt to changing workloads.
    • Must be physically fit and comfortable with being on their feet throughout the shift.
