A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF

I am an elderly gentleman living in the Radyr area of Cardiff.

Due to my Parkinsons I can experience tremors and can experience

Periods where I can freeze. I have a stammer, this is due to the tremors

But I can communicate my needs, wishes and have a conversation.

I am looking for a PA who can take me out in the community so I can

Engage in social activities that I enjoy. I am a wheel chair user and will need assistance getting into a car. I enjoy walks.

PURPOSE OF JOB

To support me access community and engage in social activities of my choice.

PLACE OF WORK

In Community and if bad weather or I do not have strength to go out, at

Home.

HOURS OF WORK

10 hours per week, split over 2 days.

RATE OF PAY

£12.80

TASKS INVOLVED

Taking me out in the community.

Support me access social activities of my choice

TYPE OF PERSON REQUIRED

Someone who is calm, patient, and understands my need

Someone who is flexible, reliable, and trustworthy

Some Knowledge of Parkinson's would be helpful

Good sense of humor

Some assistance will be required to help me get into my car
