Description
Techunite are recruiting for a 1st Line IT Helpdesk Engineer to join the expansion of a company in Crawley.


You will be responsible for day-to-day 1st line support - the upkeep, configuration and reliable operation of client and internal computer systems, servers, and security systems.

Occasionally there will be some basic and local site visits so the helpdesk engineer does need to have a UK driving license and car (mileage will be paid and covered)/


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide 1st line technical support queries professionally and efficacity, maintaining a high degree of customer service
  • To work effectively and productively with the rest of the team to make sure all 1st/2nd/3rd Line support calls are escalated where appropriate
  • Take ownership of client issues, perform technical diagnosis and fixes
  • To keep all client & inhouse systems up to date with relevant security patches
  • Proactive monitoring of servers, network equipment & backups
  • Document all calls on the Helpdesk system
  • To ensure all SLA's are met

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous IT Support/Helpdesk experience
  • Experience providing day to day 1st line support
  • Basic experience with Active Directory, Office 365, Windows Server
  • Knowledge of networking technologies & protocols
  • Full Driving license & car
  • Excellent communicator
