Trust and Safety – KYC

Seeking a Trust & Safety Advisor to join our team in Oxford, UK This role involves ensuring the authenticity and security of all supplier sign-ups and bookings for a leading travel platform. With a competitive compensation of £13/hr, this position is perfect for individuals skilled in customer support and detail-oriented work.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct validation checks for advertisers and customers to ensure safe property or experience bookings.
• Perform know your customer (KYC) checks to verify suppliers.
• Investigate suppliers and bookings using provided information, analyzing for legitimacy.
• Make informed decisions based on evidence to proceed with new customers.
• Meet targets to efficiently address customer needs and suggest process improvements.
• Provide responsive customer support via telephone calls and emails, resolving issues promptly.
• Investigate and evaluate existing suppliers for any fraudulent behavior.
• Utilize in-house tools to identify and address account threats effectively.

Qualifications:

• Availability to work two weekends every four weeks.
• Previous experience in a Customer Service role is desirable.
• Experience in a research environment is advantageous.
• Confidence in using a PC.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Software is desirable.
• Fluency in a second language (e.g., Spanish, French, Portuguese, German, Italian) is desirable but not compulsory.
