    Description


    We are looking to grow our building services team in the midlands and recruit a preconstruction focussed MEP Building Services Manager to provide expert technical support to the MEP design of a project and aid with technical changes throughout the procurement process.


    You will work in a hybrid way from our offices in Birmingham or Nottingham, home and visit projects if required to support the wider project teams.

    The key responsibilities are:

    To ensure a robust net position and operational delivery of the MEP package on complex projects
    Advise on the project procurement and profit strategy within the procurement period.
    Recommend supply chain partners who best suited to the project.
    Identify risk and provide mitigation options through procurement.
    Manage the MEP supply chain and ensure they deliver to deadlines.
    Engage with supply chain to gain quotes and understand risks
    Carry out tender gap analysis.
    Provide MEP support to our projects when requiredThe ideal candidate:

    Extensive MEP knowledge working for a contractor or supply chain partner
    Knowledge of a procurement process
    Holder of a full driving licenseIn return
