Description

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Project Management Officer with experience in a similar PMO role, strong written and verbal communication skills and an understanding of project management tools and processes.

This is a permanent opportunity, working within our Innovation and Sustainability team to support the delivery of major programmes of work across the Edinburgh Health and Social Care Partnership (EHSCP).

You will be responsible for maintaining the Programme Management Office for EHSCP, working within the existing PMO framework to embed the delivery of robust programme and project governance.

You will work closely with the programme and project managers to provide quality assurance and monitoring to the programme boards and the Edinburgh Integration Joint Board.

This will involve collating and analysing programme and project level data and metrics to inform programme delivery, meet key milestones, mitigate risks and issues, and assess delivery of outputs and benefits.

Our salary range typically reflects the initial starting salary and annually increases until it reaches the top of the range.

**_ NHS Scotland is reducing their full-time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024 but with no change in pay. This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff. This advert and any subsequent offer/contract of employment therefore reflects the new working hours. However, as not all service areas will be able to adopt the 37 hour working week immediately from 1 April 2024, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period for which you would be paid until the service you are working in changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Recruiting Board._
