Exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, self-motivated and experienced Speech and Language to join our leadership team with Health Services for Elderly People (HSEP) and General Medicine.
The post holder will:
- provide clinical leadership of a highly specialised therapy service across Health Services for Elderly People, working in partnership with all members of the multi-disciplinary team.
- be part of a team of senior SLT's working within specialty groups that include Neurology, Head and Neck Cancer, Voice / ENT and critical Care / Respiratory.
- be responsible for providing highly specialist assessment, diagnosis and treatment of adult patients in acute elderly and general medical services within the Royal Free Hospital.
- deputise for the Clinical Lead Speech and Language therapist, to ensure the development of collaborative and multidisciplinary team working practices between Therapy Teams at our Barnet and Chase Hospital sites, to assist in achieving Trust and national government targets.
You will be joining a team of SLT's and will be well supported with opportunities for peer support and access to joint working with clinical leads.
