The University of Portsmouth is an ambitious institution with a track record of success.

One of only four universities in the south east of England to achieve a Gold rating in the Teaching Excellence Framework and ranked in the top 150 in the Times Higher Young University World Rankings.

The School is seeking to appoint outstanding, talented people to support development and delivery of our postgraduate Physician Associate curriculum.

The School has a clear vision of what is required for the future medical associate workforce and this programme significantly contributes to that.

We are seeking Teaching Fellow(s) or Senior Teaching Fellow(s) to contribute to the delivery of teaching excellence for our Physician Associate programmes.

The successful applicant will focus on evidence-based teaching and pedagogy.

These are currently 2 x 0.5 fte roles, however we can be flexible and offer either fractional or full-time. The role will include designing and delivering theoretical and practical education and assessment, through blended learning.

You will be able to effectively articulate your contribution to developing this programme and an ability to teach effective and safe person-centred diagnostics and clinical decision-making in the postgraduate curricula.

A commitment to the provision of a high-quality, educational experience is important.
