Are you passionate about helping young people achieve their full potential? Do you have experience working with young people who need additional learning support? If so, we want you to join our team as a Learning Coach


TimePlan Education are working with a reputable secondary school located in Newton Abbot, and we are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to work as a Learning Coach.

In this role, you will provide support to pupils who require additional help with their learning, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Working with pupils on a onetoone basis, or in small groups, to help them overcome any barriers to learning
  • Collaborating with teachers and other professionals to develop and implement strategies to support pupil progress
  • Delivering tailored interventions and support programmes, designed to meet the individual needs of each pupil
  • Assessing and monitoring pupil progress, and reporting back to teaching staff and parents or carers as appropriate
  • Contributing to the development and delivery of wholeschool initiatives to promote positive behaviour and support pupil wellbeing.
Experience working with pupils with additional learning needs, particularly those with ASD, SEMH or ADHD, is desirable.

This is a full-time role, with hours from 8.30am to 3.30pm, Monday to Friday.
