    What you'll need:


    be educated to degree level (or equivalent) in Materials Science, Engineering, Metallurgy or comparable through experience.experience (minimum 5 years) working in a laboratory or materials testing experimental techniques for materials analysis, e.g.

    mechanical testing, optical microscopy, electron microscopy and surface characterisation quality management, problem-solving methodologies, failure investigations and process improvement techniques.


    What you'll be doing:


    a leading role in the delivery of strategic technology, innovation and growth projects with clients, research partners and extended industry stakeholders around the world.research and technology development project work involving a high degree of specialist knowledge, including the application of sound experimental and computational skills.closely with colleagues, customers, research partners and industry stakeholders to deliver commercially successful expert knowledge of industrial products, processes, technologies and analytical techniques to ensure the business is always able to offer industry-leading delivering customer-focused technical proposals, which are both cost-effective and timely, to existing and new facilities within the industry.
