Our client has a permanent, full time vacancy for Vehicle Damage Evaluator.

The Role
You will be responsible for providing a physical inspection of vehicles.

The information gathered is reported through an electronic form (DTLE) which is reviewed by the Vehicle Image Engineers to provide the customer with a fully detailed vehicle appraisalreport.

As part of this role you will have the opportunity to undertake additional career development and obtain a recognised motor engineering qualification (ATA VDA).

What you will be required to do:

To ensure physical vehicle examinations and inspections (DTLE's) are carried out in accordance with company standards
To investigate and provide important information to the Engineering Teams
Liaise with Insurance Companies and process requests regarding additional vehicle information
Operate handheld device to document vehicle information and imagery
Maintain excellent service levels
To communicate and collaborate information with colleagues within the Operating Centres and Head Office
Follow Health & Safety, and Company guidelines, to maintain a safe and efficient working environment
To report to the Engineering Service Manager any issues preventing the efficient completion of duties

Requirements:

Experience of motor vehicles, familiarity with all types of damage and repair methods
Knowledge of basic legal vehicle roadworthiness requirements under Road Traffic Act
Able to interpret degrees of damage and possible consequences
Strong Microsoft Office Skills
Demonstrate effective ability to work under own initiative
Selfmotivated with an enquiring and investigative nature
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
