A multinational £300m+ group with activities encompassing manufacturing, sales and service that has substantially grown over the last couple of years and is targeting 15-20% growth for this financial year.

TheOpportunity
The Operations Finance Reporting & Control Manager is responsible for the financial reporting of the European Manufacturing Operations based in Newtown, UK and Oradea, Romania, cost base c£200m+.
Working with both internal and external stakeholders to ensurecompliant and timely reporting built on a strong foundation of disciplined Transactional Processing, Compliance and Controls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the Financial Reporting of the European Manufacturing Operations monthly, quarterly and annual reports to Group Finance and Statutory bodies as required
- Principal contact for Internal and External audits for Operations
- Manage, develop and coach the European Operations Finance Reporting and Controls Team of 56 people
- Responsible for UK & Ireland Payroll production and reporting
- Work with the Operations Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to produce the Annual Budget
- Responsible for cash and treasury management
- Responsible for ensuring compliance to Group accounting policies and all applicable IFRS
- Working capital Management including trade Debtor/Creditor risk management
- Working with Group Finance and Site teams to improve processes on an ongoing basis
- Control of access to financial systems within responsible area
- Review of financial processes and procedures for improvement opportunities on an ongoing basis
- Support the business in optimising its balance sheet and highlighting potential risks
- Management of internal/external stakeholder relationships
Required experience and qualifications:
- Professional Qualification (CIMA/ACCA) preferred
- 5+ Years Financial reporting experience in a large organisation
- Experience of reporting of financial data within tight deadlines
- Highly organised with extremely efficient planning of own and team's workload
- Strong managerial skills
- Working knowledge of current IFRS standards useful (although this knowledge existing within the team).
- Experience in developing financial systems and processes desirable.
- Any knowledge of lean manufacturing methodology and process e.g. 6 Sigma desirable
