    Description

    An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Registered Mental Health Nurse to join Dunnottar Ward as a Band 5 Staff Nurse.

    Dunnottar Ward is a busy Acute Psychiatric admission ward (general adult) with a catchment area predominantly covering Aberdeen City whilst also being open for admissions from the Ministry of Defence.

    Candidates should be able to demonstrate the ability to work in a busy and challenging environment, developing effective therapeutic relationships with both patients and carers.

    Candidates should have good interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively and cooperatively as part of the ward nursing team and within the wider multi-disciplinary team.

    The successful candidate will be expected to deliver care in accordance with the NMC Code of Professional Conduct and in line with local and national policy including health and safety legislation.

    This post is a fixed term contract and full time hours.
