Are you experienced in the design of Intralogistics / Automated Warehouse solutions utilising ASRS, AMR (Autonomous Mobile Robot, AGVs (Autonomous Guided Vehicles) and other associated automated materials handling technology? The Intralogistics / Warehouse Automation market is booming and our client is rapidly expanding We are now looking to urgently recruit an experienced professional with proven experience in the capacity of a Solutions Design Engineer.

This is a sales engineering/ sales support role where you will lead / manage a developing team responsible for collating, cleansing, and analysing data to determine project requirements and design innovative solutions to fit their client's needs whilst helping to drive the sales phase/ process.

Specific duties / responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

Day to day management / mentoring of a growing team of solution designers
Analysing complex customer data sets, understanding client needs / requirements and identifying the opportunities and challenges that they face
Developing core solution design criteria and metrics
Development of material flow diagrams
Review operational processes & KPIs and assess the business case justifications such as ROI
Working closely with the sales team to identify and recommend solutions to fit client requirements
Liaison with internal and external suppliers and stakeholders to evolve the development of solutions
Presenting designs / concepts to clients and colleagues internally
Ownership of the cost model and involvement in determining both the sales & commercial strategies for projects
Providing support for the contracting phase by developing test specifications and other key documents
