Elevation Recruitment Group - Marketing Division are excited to be working with a national distributor with a sustainability ethos and a great employee culture.

The Product Marketing Manager UK & IRE is expected to be based in Wakefield along with most of the Product Marketing team.

However, the employee will be required to travel to other Group locations to work alongside colleagues and for external meetings as appropriate.

The role reports into the Head of Product Marketing.

The successful candidate will benefit from a hybrid working arrangement, so will be based predominantly in the Normanton office but will also be able to work from home on occasions.

Objectives:

The Product Marketing Manager UK & IRE will lead the supplier engagement on marketing for the Group and generate strong customer focused marketing materials and promotional campaigns.

This role has responsibility for coordinating and driving marketing activity across all channels of and will need to build strong internal relationships and collaborate extensively with Sales, Corporate Marketing and Buying to be successful.

They will support the Head of Product Marketing in delivering the key department objectives. Liaising and networking with a range of internal/external stakeholders.

Creation and management of marketing activity calendars for each sales channel with a focus on the key channels determined as part of the category engagement strategy.

Initiating and managing the production and distribution of product marketing materials, including mailers, leaflets, posters, flyers, newsletters, etc.
Working with Corporate Marketing to develop brand equity and drive positive PR.
Working with Finance, Buying and Heads of Channel Corporate Marketing to identify budget gaps and recovery plans.
Produce marketing pitch presentations to assist Buying in vendor negotiations.

Work closely alongside Product Management to develop the identified key brands, to maximise the funding available and the return on investment achieved.

Experienced in commercially focused B2B and B2C marketing and implementing multi-channel marketing campaigns.
Significant knowledge of all aspects of the marketing mix with strong analytical skills.
Creative approach to new campaigns.
Commercial awareness, for managing budgets, pricing and analysing data.
Strong marketing background.
Experience of creating and delivering a marketing strategy in a commercially focused B2B or B2C company.
Evidence of digital marketing knowledge across email, online and social channels.
Commercial awareness, for managing budgets, controlling costs and analysing data.
Numerate, analytical and ability to project-manage the team to complete multiple/diverse tasks to completion.
Marketing related Business Degree, CIM qualifications or similar
