Description
Qualitair Aviation are currently recruiting for an exciting new opportunity in
Germany.
The ENGINEERING SPECIALIST is responsible for managing, maintaining, verifying and improving all technical
aspects in relation to the company's pool of aircraft parts and components, also with regards to
customers specific requirements as described in the contract.


The role:


  • Providing technical advice with regards to components technical standard and component modifications
  • Leading the modification process and providing technical expertise and guidance for implementation into the components pool
  • Supporting modification campaigns of defined number of aircraft's or entire fleets by providing technical expertise prior the handover to the Supply Chain Department
  • Securing the pool standard integrity including the surveillance of component life limitations and shelflife limits
  • Perform the component's reliability analysis and compare the results per individual customer. Align with the involved MRO organisations the data sets needed to support the activity and the time line for their delivery.
  • Perform special investigations based on customer request for defined part numbers to identify root causes for "bad" performance and to propose improvement measures
  • University Degree in Mechanical, Electronic or Aircraft Engineering
  • Knowledge of EASA / FAA regulations
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in similar role
  • Knowledge of MRO services, setup, structure and certification
  • Fluent in English
  • High analytical skills
  • Adaptability and flexibility
