Do you love people, marketing and fundraising? Are you interested in helping a vibrant health-related local charity? We have an exciting new opportunity for a creative fundraising professional to join a small national team, coordinating all the fundraising activities.

£30,000 to £35,000 per annum

The Role


The Fundraising Officer will be part of a small national team and will coordinate all fundraising activities in line with the organisation's overall strategy and implementation plans.

It is anticipated that the role will have a primary focus to complete a large fundraising project in year one with a balance between developing corporate partnerships.

The Fundraising Officer will report to, and work closely with the CEO, as well as with other office staff.

The Fundraising Officer at all times will act in accordance with the Constitution of the organisation, their strategic priorities and all current policies and procedures of the charity, including adherence to GDPR legislation and Data Protection.

Key areas of responsibility for the Fundraising Officer include:
*Deliver on the Charity's annual Fundraising Strategy with emphasis on the development of a detailed 'Case for Support' fundraising proposal in conjunction with the board, with the aim of supporting and developing a Fundraising sub-committee of the Board and Fundraising Committee for a large fundraising project.
*Work towards their own fundraising target of £77,000 in twelve months.
*Create and manage a database of potential corporate partners.
*Secure new long-term corporate partners.
*Line-manage relationships with corporate partners.
*Develop and oversee corporate volunteering days, with input from the Peer Support Manager.
*Develop a programme of fundraising events.
*Manage and oversee the delivery of each event.
*Develop and maintain a database of individual donors.
*Develop a donor engagement programme of regular but light-touch communications with the marketing consortium, for all donors, individual, corporate etc with the use of the CRM system.

About You


It is anticipated that the role will have a primary communications focus and developing and completing a large fundraising project in year one with a balance between fundraising and communications from year two onwards.

About the Organisation


The Charity has a simple aim: to provide support to children, youths and adults with kidney disease and their families and carers in Wales to lead a better quality of life.

Its purpose is to help renal patients in Wales lead a better quality of life by improving their financial, physical, and emotional well-being and improving their knowledge of kidney disease through education.
