The In-Store Marketing team create and execute compelling Point of Sale (POS) for our Supermarkets, Superstores and Asda Living stores.

Point of Sale campaigns aim to drive basket spend, engage customers and ensure shopper satisfaction.


As a In-Store Marketing (Point of Sale) Planner within the Events & Campaigns team, you will manage and deliver impactful and integrated in-store Point of Sale materials for key calendar and customer-led events such as Halloween, Easter and Christmas.


You will work with design and print agencies to land compelling, on brand, best in class events and campaigns for our stores and customers.

In addition, you will work alongside our internal design, strategy and proposition teams to ensure POS campaigns andevents land on time, to budget, and aligns with other channels across the marketing team


Your Role:


As In-Store Marketing (Point of Sale) Planner you will work in the POS Implementation team to deliver POS solutions for all major Events and Campaigns (e.g.

Easter, Halloween & Christmas) across the store.


You will report to the POS Manager - Events & Campaigns and will be responsible for the planning and execution of POS for a variety of seasonal events - ensuring they land on time and to budget, reporting on activity status and ensuring all concepts adhereto our brand guidelines.


You will work alongside your fellow POS Planner and coach a POS co-ordinator who will support the delivery of all activity.

As a team you will be responsible for creating print briefs for our agencies and in-house studio, you will consult internal designteams to support the creative process and sign off, and work with our retail operations team to deliver effective store communications to ensure all events and campaigns land with impact.


You'll be responsible for adhering to budget, driving efficiencies within your critical path management, and deliver sustainable solutions where possible.


About You:


  • You will have project management and critical path management experience
  • You will have experience working in retail, ideally with some experience of point of sale and/or print marketing materials
  • You must have proven commercial acumen and budget responsibility
  • You will have a proven track record of creative development and working with and/or managing agencies
