Trilogic Recruitment are pleased to be working with a well established, leading childcare provider in the Thames Valley area. They provide care to children ages 3 months - 5 years old across five locations.

This position is located in Cookham, Berkshire.

The nursery is open from 7.30am - 6pm, you will be working 40 hours a week.

Salary - Depending on Experience - Up to £23,500

The key responsibilities for this role would be;

Ensure the safety and well being of all children in your care resulting in the total avoidance of preventable accidents and promoting a feeling of security and satisfaction amongst all parents
Caring for the all round daily needs of the children to enhance their physical, intellectual, social and emotional development.
Supervise all staff within your room to ensure high standards are constantly achieved
Contribute effectively to the team maintaining a high level of communication throughout the whole nursery.

You will be tasked to have a high level of awareness of companies policies and procedures and ensure they are carried out through yourself and your team.

You will train and support new starters using the nursery's training programme. You will also include andencourage all staff members in their daily activities and development by leading by example.

You will also need to ensure the parents are satisfied and given appropriate feedback by all yourself and nursery staff.

Staff should be communicating with the children at a appropriate level during play and meal times. You will be the first point of contactfor children and parents during their settling in sessions.

Requirements:

Experience working in a Early Year's setting, preferably Baby room, but any Early Years age group is fine.
Advantageous but not essential, to have worked as a Room Leader before.
Level 3 professional qualification or above. [NNEB, NVQ or equivalent]
