Up to £30,199 Pro Rata

We are actively searching for a Trainer Assessor to join our
Healthcare and Early Years Department at our 12 Quays
Campus for
25 hours per week.

We will offer a salary of

About the Job

Job Purpose


To provide training, advice and assessment to students on Childhood Studies programmes of study including T Level, primarily 16 to 18 year olds and HE provision.

Also, to be part of the internal quality assurance monitoring process.

  • To provide training and assessment to students both in the college and on the employer's premises.
  • To liaise with individual students and/or workplace supervisors to ensure convenient placements and assessment visits are arranged, and to be sensitive to the requirements of observing practise within an establishment in which they are not directly employed.

About You

  • Hold an Assessor Award (D32/33 or A1 or TAQA)
  • Hold a professional qualification (e.g. diploma at Level 4 or above qualification in early years related qualification)
  • Minimum Level 2 English (GCSE A-C, or equivalent) and Minimum Level 2 Maths (GCSE, A-C, or equivalent) or be willing to work towards within 6 months
