City & Capital are delighted to be representing one of the UK's most highly respected and successful lenders of bridging and development finance who are actively looking to grow their Loan Analysis and Underwriting team in advance of some exciting objectivesto increase lending and performance in the coming year.

Within the role you will work to support the initial assessment of loan enquiries with a view to collating the relevant information and documentation from borrowers.

To achieve this you will work very closely with the company BDMs and Senior Underwriters,as well as external stakeholders to the loan process, to include borrowers and professionals, such as quantity surveyors, solicitors and accountants.

Please note that this role does not require you to have experience in any of the above areas, though it does require you to have a passion to learn and develop internally, as all training will be given.

Key is a strong mathematical/analytical skillset/background and a strong attention to detail to allow you to identify and engage with various financial data, with a view to utilising this for decision making purposes.

Due to the above this role may suit an individual with some property finance experience who is keen to progress their career further, or a recent graduate demonstrating the skillsets outlined.

Role Duties Include (though may not be limited to )

Analyse all bridging and development deals for the credit team to discuss
Prepare preliminary credit papers and final credit papers for the underwriting team
Establish effective relationships with all stakeholders in the transaction process
Take responsibility and ownership on all deals

The basic salary for this role is up to £30k based on experience. Higher offers may be considered for exceptional talent.

Salary will be complemented by access to an internal bonus structure that will allow you to progress earnings further, as well as thelenders benefits scheme.
