The Assistant Underwriter will provide an excellent underwriting service for brokers across the UK. Working as part of a team being pro-active and willing to help brokers across all classes of business. We can offer a great career path upwards to Underwriter/Senior Underwriter along with funding and support for your CII qualification
Underwriting risks in accordance within own personal underwriting authority level
Provide excellent service to brokers, prioritising renewals and mid-term adjustments and referrals whether emanating from the broker e-trading platform, Acturis or by email/phone to ensure deadlines are met
Analyse broker performance and report findings to the team manager
Proven relevant insurance experience and demonstrable technical skills ideally
Background and experience in our lines of business is desirable, commercial, commercial combined, D&O, construction, social welfare, PI, EL/PL
Demonstrable IT skills including MS Office
