Multimedia Journalist to join our team at

This role is home based however due to the nature of the role, you will need to be based in or around Kent, or be prepared to relocate to the area.

What will the role involve?
You will write and develop stories, with great pictures and engaging video.

You will deliver a fast turnaround on stories about local communities which engage as many readers as possible with exclusive stories that set us apart from our rivals.

All while ensuring that every piece of content is researched and published in accordance with the Editors Code of practice.

You will be confident using a range of digital formats and quickly identify breaking news by utilising social media.

Who are we looking for?

You have first rate editing, writing and subbing skills, relish the test of working under pressure and to tight deadlines.

Youre social media savvy with current SEO knowledge and ideally you're familiar with newsroom analytics and content management systems. Youre flexible, inquisitive and are on the pulse of what makes a great story
