Oaklands Global are on the lookout for a skilled aviation professional with a passion for piston engine maintenance and expertise in Garmin avionics systems.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your technical prowess, leadership abilities, and Garmin avionics proficiency in a dynamic aviation environment.
ResponsibilitiesRun a team of engineers and technicians in performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks on piston-powered aircraft.Conduct thorough inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs of Garmin avionics systems, including installation and configuration as needed.
Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities, ensuring minimal aircraft downtime and maximum operational efficiency.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, compliance documents, and technical manuals.
Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and technological advancements to continually enhance operational effectiveness.
RequirementsHold a valid CAA B1.2 License/Group rated Engineer with experience on piston-powered aircraft.
Proven experience working with Garmin avionics systems, including installation, troubleshooting, and software updates.
Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
