Description
A successful manufacturing business require a Procurement & Supply Chain Manager. Applicants need a strategic procurement skillset, alongside an appreciation of end-to-end supply chain and experience/the ability to manage staff.


The Procurement & Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for leading strategic procurement activity, managing a team of Buyers and overseeing the stores function.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an ambitious an forward-thinking manufacturing businesswith a strong order book.

Specific duties of the Procurement & Supply Chain Manager include:

  • Setting supplier metrics and KPIs around OTD/OTF
  • Agreement of LTAs/contracts with suppliers
  • Set inventory management strategy
  • Coach and develop a team of Buyers
  • Work with leadership team to drive broad process and continuous improvement initiatives
Procurement & Supply Chain applicants should meet the following criteria:

  • Experience as a Supply Chain Manager, Purchasing Manager, Procurement Manager or Senior Buyer
  • Previous experience within a manufacturing or engineering business
  • The ability to lead and motivate teams
  • MRP/ERP literate
  • Strong negotiating skills
