The children, Headteacher, staff and governors of Rauceby Church of England Primary School are seeking to appoint a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join our teaching team.


We work hard to support our children with Educational Healthcare Plans and this post is to support a child in Y4.

This post is temporary until the child leaves school or the Education, Health and Care Plan funding ceases.

The post is for 17.5 hours spread over five days.

The hours of work will be 8.45am pm Monday - Friday.

We are looking for someone to start as soon as possible.


_We are looking for someone who:_

  • Can expertly support the child's cognition and learning and their communication and interaction.
  • Can promote each child's selfesteem and confidence
  • Can assist with the planning and preparation of activities and implement provision plans including programmes from outside agencies
  • Enjoys working as part of a team and is able to use their own initiative
  • Has a positive attitude
  • Has experience of working with children in a primary school or special school setting and, in particular, of working with children with dyslexia
  • Has experience of working with and interacting with children with special educational needs in KS
  • Is committed to be involved in the wider life of our village school
