As the People Management Practice Lead, you will play a pivotal role in this transformation, leading the charge in developing our people management culture through the implementation of clear HR policies, guidance, and toolkits.


What you will be doing:


As the People Management Practice Lead, you will have a wide range of responsibilities that contribute to our overall mission.

You will collaborate with HR and Organisational Development, (OD) colleagues to develop an approach to policy development that aligns with our organisational aims, focuses on employee experience, and brings fresh thinking to the forefront.

Working with managers at all levels and engaging stakeholders such as Trade Unions, you will facilitate discussions, seek approval for change, and present compelling proposals that challenge, influence, negotiate, and consult effectively.

Your role will be instrumental in embedding the Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) agenda from an HR perspective.

Leveraging data, you will continuously assess our performance, identify areas for improvement, and measure the success of implemented changes, ensuring we are constantly evolving and adapting.


About you:

You will be professionally HR qualified (MCIPD) or possess significant related experience.

More than just a qualified professional, you are a disruptor ready to take on new challenges, revolutionise existing practices, and push boundaries.

Your expertise in a range of HR practices will allow you to flex your skills and adapt to various situations as needed.


You have a proven track record of working with senior leaders and stakeholders, able to hold your own under pressure and influence decision-making processes.

Your ability to lead as part of a team, collaborate effectively, and inspire others will be crucial in fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment.

You possess excellent communication skills, capable of taking people on a journey through compelling stories and engaging narratives.

With exceptional organisational skills, you thrive in delivering results within tight timescales.
