Boomerang Media ( is a well-established UK boutique consumer-targeted out-of-home (OOH) media business.Boomerang owns, manages & operates over 2,000 digital screens in 5 distinct audience networks - Health & Fitness, Cinema, Retail, Playcentres & Education - working with leading consumer brands such as David Lloyd Leisure, Nuffield Health, Pure Gym & VUE Entertainment amongst many others.
We provide content creation & screen network management for the host businesses & an advertising opportunity on the screens for 3rd party advertisers - both international, national & local clients.
The business is looking for a new B2B marketing manager to support our sales & marketing (revenue generation) activities targeted at the UK advertising media sector - client brands & their advertising, marketing & media agencies.
The company also operates alongside two other group businesses - Boomerang Education ( & Let's Go with the Children (The business head office is located in a Grade 2 listed Manor House in parkland in Aldershot, Hampshire. The role - in the future - will be largely based in the office but with some WFH flexibility.
The successful candidate must be prepared to 'own' the marketing function at Boomerang. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, deliver to deadlines & have the confidence/gravitas to interact with senior stakeholders.
It is expected that candidates will have 7+ years of relevant experience in B2B marketing roles ideally from the media marcoms or a similar sector.
Experience and interest in the wider media, marketing & communications sectorsAudience insights & research experience and data/analytical skillset
A self-starter, with creative flair
Copy-writing capability and design/visual comms competency
Annual Marketing Plan & Brand
Oversee the development of an annual sales & marketing plan & ensure execution of all key projects/activities.
In conjunction with senior management manage the business's brand guidelines, media positioning & core value and ensure our in-house design team adhere to them
National Advertising Markets
~ As per the Marcomms plan, produce engaging, thought-provoking, insight-driven pieces for advertisers & their agencies on lead networks (Health & Fitness, Cinema, Retail, Playcentres & Schools) mainly via B2b Email, Web & Social Media channels
Company Credentials, Network Presentations & Media Packs
Network Presentations - to make changes of a major nature as & when required.
Mock-Up's & Photo Library - as needed for pitches; update photo library as required.
Market Research & Insights
Develop, manage & maintain network consumer audience insights from both primary and secondary research sources; we are heavy users of TGI and YouGov data sources, but also encourage research initiatives, often in partnership with client advertisers.
Develop insights into key advertising client sectors to support our sales approachWe operate mainly cloud based MS & Adobe packages, including MS Dynamics for CRM, an associated email system called Click-Dimensions & Creative Suite.
