Multi Skilled Operative - Lincoln

My client generates around £775 million in annual sales and is the leading UK supplier of cement, concrete and cement products.

In addition to ready mixed concrete, cement and aggregates they also supply and install asphalt materials, manufacture concrete block paving's, rail products, bespoke pre-cast, and concrete blocks.

Holding the enviable position as market leader and a leading supplier of mortars and screeds their reputation for reliability and unrivalled technical expertise has been built up over 80 years serving the UK construction industry.

Nationwide the company operates138 mixing plants to ensure efficient delivery to virtually any location in the UK.

The role:
To support the Plant Manager with the running of a busy Asphalt plant. Ensuring H&S is prioritized whilst ensuring the production needs of the customer is met.

Reporting to the Plant Manager, key tasks will include:

Weighbridge
Day to Day Operations
Operation of Coating Plant producing asphalt in accordance with technical quality standards
Operation of the loading shovel
General maintenance and housekeeping tasks around the site
Complying with all Company Health, Safety & Environmental systems, and reporting procedures
Experience working in a coating or similar production environment preferred but not essential
A good understanding of industry Health, Safety and Environmental standards
Good communication skills and teamwork
NVQ Wheeled Loader license an advantage though a full training package is provided
Flexibility, reliability, and enthusiasm
Ability to work within a busy team environment
Fitting skills / Mechanical experience would be an advantage

30k salary
23 days holiday going up to 25 after 12 months service
