We are seeking to recruit experienced and dedicated Primary School Teaching Assistants to work in a primary school in Pontypridd.

We are looking for Teaching Assistants in or around Pontypridd who are experienced in supporting pupils in the foundation phase of their learning.

Although not essential, experience supporting small groups with tasks would be advantageous. The school has fantastic facilities and a supportive and welcoming cohort of staff.

Overview:

-Title: Primary School Teaching Assistant

-Immediate start dates available

-Pay: £ £85.00 per day

-Location: Pontypridd

-Hours: Long Term
Monday to Friday
830am - 330pm

The role:
What you'll be doing as a Primary School Teaching Assistant

Assisting learners at the start of the school day and when leaving at the end of the day
Assisting staff members in preparing the classroom for a lesson Working with learners on a 121 basis, as well as general classroom support and guiding small groups through tasks.
Support the class teacher in the delivery of the lessons
Assist learners at break time with their lunch
Engage learners with both classroom and outofclassroom activities Work under the school's behaviour management policies
At least 3 months experience of working with children in schools, nurseries or childcare settings
References covering the last two years (no gaps)
EWc registration
Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one
The ability to drive would be advantageous
The right to work in the UK
